With over 400,000 robots installed across the globe and one of the largest manufacturers of industrial robots, Yaskawa Europe is one of the few market players that have successfully managed to reach the pinnacle. The company’s robots can be used for a diverse range of applications such as welding, palletising, painting, handling or assembly. Apart from this, the firm is also well known for manufacturing industrial drives and motion controls.

To exhibit its latest innovations, Yaskawa Europe will be participating at EuroBLECH, the global sheet metal working technology exhibition. The large-scale and four day event will begin from October 23, 2018 and be held in Hannover, Germany. This trade fair attracts potential buyers from different industries hence it becomes the perfect platform. Some of the noteworthy solutions offered by the firm include the MotoMini robot, YRC1000 micro high-performance controller and the Smart Pendant.

Moto mini robots

The compact ‘MotoMini’ robot is a light-weight and high speed robot that suits best for handling small workpieces, components and can also be used for assembly work in small production machines. With a range of 350 mm and capable of handling a payload of 500 g, the ‘MotoMini’ robot is the smallest Motoman model offered by the firm. The robot can move components in all three directions and all three axes.

Motoman YRC1000 micro high-performance controller

The mini robot can be operated with the new Motoman YRC1000 micro high-performance controller which is small and light in weight. The controller’s hand-held programmer is again lightweight and weighs only 730 g. It is also equipped with a 3D simulation on the display of the hand-held programmer which shows the movement of the real robot arm and the limits of safe working. With a cabinet volume of only 21.5 litres, the controller not only offers the quality of movement but can also be optionally operated with two additional axes.

Smart Pendant

Yaskawa will also be presenting the new Smart Pendant programme. Through this programme, operators can change back and forth between the screens with ease as all the options are listed in a specific traceable sequence. This makes it convenient for the user to access all the entries in the navigation menu and also head back to the main menu without any difficulty. The Smart Pendant corresponds to the modern operating structure of a smartphone and is available for all handling robots with YRC1000 and YRC1000 micro controllers.

Yaskawa Europe has consistently introduced many timely solutions into the global market and with the company exhibiting at EuroBLECH 2018, this year will be no different.
