Yamada Dobby offers high precision press machines for the production of minute parts. Specialised in the creation of diverse parts such as lead frames, connectors, motor cores and television set components, the company has successfully managed to establish its mark across the globe. The company is constantly trying to develop new and superior quality machines for its customers in the industry and hence, it is not surprising that the firm participates at major industrial trade fairs to showcase its latest solutions.

Yamada NXT-50Wi-150 punching machine

Blechexpo 2019 is one such recent show in which Yamada Dobby exhibited. At this popular event, the company displayed the innovative high performance punching machine Yamada NXT-50Wi-150. Ideal for all requirements of IoT & 4.0, the punching machine comprises a press force of 500kN, a bolster length of 1500 mm, adjustable stroke length from 15 – 44 mm and speed up to 980 SPM. In addition to this, with a weight of 19 tones and a height of 3500 mm, the press machine also includes a maximum die height of 340 mm, a slide area of 1500x420 mm, a strip inlet width of 260 mm and a main motor of 22kW.

NXT high precision and high speed model

The NXT-50Wi-150 is a part of the NXT high precision and high speed model which is equipped with a double link motion mechanism. This mechanism allows a slide motion deceleration at around the bottom dead point for an optimal stability of the ram penetration and a drastic reduction of the vibrations inside the dies during the cutting and forming operations.

Casting iron FCD-50 is used to create the frame material and the slide is guided by 2 plungers and 4 posts which prove useful against eccentric load inside the dies. All the NXT models come equipped with an automatic oil temperature control (Heat & cool system) which allows optimal stability of the slide penetration from the first stamped parts at any constant speed or in acceleration. Quick die changes with memorisation of all the press and feeder parameters (for a total of 1000 dies) is also possible with the easy handling press control with its colour touch screen panel. The double link motion and high precision NXT series is expected to add new dimensions to the shop floor.

At the company’s booth at the trade fair, representatives from the company interacted with industry players and also shared information with them about other solutions available at Yamada Dobby.
