Turkish industry Turkey: Automotive industry gives hope!
As usual, the business associations and governmental organizations prepared reports related to year past and compared them with the data of previous years.
One of the reports considered as very important, is the one presented by OSD which is the governing body for all Turkish automotive manufacturers and serves the purpose of representing the Turkish Automotive Industry on national and international level. There is a table below summarizing the data of automotive sector in 2014 and 2015. This report is very important because it points out the data which is valuable for metal and plastics working industries. The report gives the idea that there is potential for the sectors offering machinery and automation equipments, instruments and systems in automotive sector. See picture gallery for latest insights.

The increase rate is 8% for automobiles section. As seen from the table total production was realized as 1 million 359 thousands in automotive sector (including all) and 791 thousands in automobile sectors. The report indicates the market growth as 25%, and the rate is almost the same for automotive and for automobile sectors (24%). Export of automotive products almost reached to 1 million units. The figures states that commercial vehicle export increase rate is a lot higher compared to automobile data.")
