Turkey is at the 26th position of the global machine construction industry with 14 billion USD of machine exports. Machine construction is one of the most important sectors of the Turkish economy. Despite the current economic state in the world and even in Turkey, machine construction has grown well in the past decade.

The economic growth of Turkey continues to exist, wherein the machine construction sector has a substantial share. Its share in export is 8.6% and for the coming years, till the jubilee of the establishment in 2023, expansion by 20% is planned.

In the past 5 years, exports in this sector have risen by 15%. In all sectors of machine construction, Turkey has companies that produce and export with high quality. For this company, it is important to strengthen its sustainable competitiveness in the global market.

With Industrie 4.0 and robotics, even the Turkey is at an important point to pick up the trend of the time and to lay the foundation for the necessary infrastructure.

For the German company, the Turkish machine construction sector offers great potential as a buying market as well as an international location and thus for international investments.

We, as Turkish Machinery, are paying special attention in our work in Germany to intensifying German-Turkish collaboration, generating collaborations, supporting technology transfer as well as on common projects in the field of research and development. For this purpose, we are working intensively on extending relations to German companies, associations, organisations and clubs directly from the field of research.

The German-Turkish collaboration in the field of machine building offers enormous opportunities and high potential, which can be used. As Turkish Machinery, we are currently representing about 8000 Turkish member companies in the machine construction sector and thus cover the fields of machine manufacturers, supply industry, order production as well as suppliers for intermediate and end customers.

We will be represented even in the year 2016 at various trade fairs in Germany to fulfil these tasks.
