SPS IPC Drives 2018: Product innovations at a glance
ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH is presenting the latest version of its hardware-in-the-loop system ISG-virtuos at SPS IPC Drives 2018. With the help of this software, machine and system manufacturers can create digital twins that cannot be distinguished from real machines down to the component level. Simulation in real-time control allows concepts to be validated in advance or virtual commissioning to be carried out. In addition, companies can carry out tests throughout the entire production cycle.
With ISG-dirigent, ISG also presents a test automation tool that helps to automate necessary tests that are still carried out manually today and thus to optimize the control software quality of the digital twins at an early stage. This significantly reduces the amount of testing required.
