Hannover Messe 2019 Simpler logistics systems: Free rein for ideas

Editor: Theresa Knell

ZAFH Intralogistik, a joint project by three universities in Reutlingen and Ulm, aims to show how to overcome hindrances to applying service robotics in logistics.

Flexible commissioning is one of the possible applications for the ZAFH Intralogistik building set system.

In the project, ideas are realised using a building set of components, services, platforms for exchanging hardware and software, documentation and evaluation tools. In addition, the focus on the requirements of logistics, and especially on the reduction of integration work, will enable logistics systems to be integrated more easily in the future.
