The solution allows for more accurate motion modeling, and more efficient acoustic and structural dynamics simulations.

Acquisition

In November 2017, Siemens also entered into an agreement to acquire Saskatoon, Canada-based Solido Design Automation., a leading provider of variation-aware design and characterization software to semiconductor companies across the globe. The acquisition of Solido further expands Mentor’s Analog/mixed-signal (AMS) verification portfolio that will help customers to address the growing challenges of IC design and verification for automotive, communications, data-center computing, networking, mobile, and IoT applications.
