Polyplastics Russia: First quarter 2017 exceeds plan by 9%

Russian-based Polyplastic displays a growth dynamics. Shipment of the company’s products in Q1 exceeded numbers of the business plan by 9%, the company says.

The automotive industry holds the first place among consumers of the compounder, along with that, this industry had shown the best growth trend. Along with the auto industry, white goods and civil construction continue to lead the company’s consumers list: 37%, 25% and 17%.
According to Polyplastic, sales capacities had grown by 9,2% in comparison with identic period of last year. Engels remains to be the compounders’ logistics hub with 65% of shipping happening at that production site. This quarter had been marked by a substantial achievement delivered by the company’s sales department – Samsung entered R&P Polyplastic’s Top-10 consumers list.

According to analytics from the compounding enterprise, the fact of increase in capacities amid an unstable currency environment should be regarded as a substantial growth, the company says. Polyplastic was able not only to hold its leadership on the market, but also to increase its supply capacities – all these whilst low materials prices of foreign compounders.
"Every cent of the company’s income had come as result of a beneficial impact from each employee," summarised Andrey Menshov, the company’s managing partner.
In respect of production, the enterprise had also strengthened its position by exceeding numbers in the BP. A proposal was made to correct the company’s course in spite of upcoming challenges, among which is the future expansion of custom borders, Polyplastic says.
