Headquartered in Germany, RK Rose+Krieger is known for its diverse range of products in the field of linear, profile assembly, connecting and module technology. The firm has been a partner of the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechatronic Systems Design for many years and recently, the company has also been awarded with the ‘Top 100’ innovator award, a prestigious reward for Germany’s most innovative SMEs. This year, RK Rose+Krieger will be seen participating at Motek 2019 in order to showcase its latest innovations to industry players across the globe.

Triple-axis room portal

The German company will be presenting a triple-axis room portal which can be used for a robot-aided handling system. Created by Blocan aluminium profiles and linear actuators, the portal can be seen live at the international trade fair on automation for production and assembly. In this solution, room axes are not superimposed over the robot axes instead they are capable of shifting the cobot in the room to the required destination. This simple move enables managers to avoid the need for costly as well as time-consuming conversion and resetting work. It is interesting to note that the rigidity of the room portal helps one to achieve a high level of precision when using tools and at the same time also lowers costs as compared to conventional industrial robots.

MultiControl II duo plus lifting column controller

At the German show, RK Rose+Krieger will also be exhibiting the MultiControl II duo plus lifting column controller, an upgraded version of the premium MultiControl II duo lifting column controller which was first showcased at the mother of all trade shows, Hannover Messe 2019.The new innovation is available in two versions – basic and premium. The company states that the basic version of the controller can now position up to four identical drives synchronously, for example an existing table frame comprising four Multilift II lifting columns. The premium version even provides the option of defining two different drive groups and moving them either synchronously or individually. A typical application would be a control room in which the height of the table and monitors is adjusted by just one controller.

Some of the other new features of the MultiControl II duo plus comprise the service drive and the screen lock for the operating control. The service drive assists one to eliminate distortions on the system by positioning just a single drive whereas; the screen lock protects the drives from unauthorised access.

Apart from these solutions, the company will also be exhibiting many other interesting solutions for the ever-evolving industry.
