Jäger’s team of experts advises on component development and plastics-compatible engineering to ensure that high-quality and reproducible mass production of the intended product is also possible.

The firm explains that its know-how, especially in the so-called parallel development of the part and the associated tool, already avoids in advance the otherwise lurking component faults of distortion and sink marks. The use of simulation software for the FEM strength calculation (Marc) and for visualising mould-filling behaviour using “mould-flow” guarantees, according to Jäger, the structural stability of the part and ensures, effectively at the first attempt, secure production sequences.

In questions of production technology, Jäger relies on typical kinds of plastics processing. For tool and mould construction, these include injection and blow moulding, foaming, thermoforming and machining. In the materials field, they have wide experience with ABS, PP, PE, PVC, POM and many thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), for example.
