Dualis presents its in-house development, the planning software Areaplan. This enables more efficient use of restricted surfaces and more productive manufacture of large products. This solution is ideal, the maker says, in one-off and small-batch runs of complex products assembled on the construction site principle. Dualis’ display at the fair includes using Areaplan for simultaneous consideration of spatial and chronological dimensions while making effective use of degrees of freedom. With this intelligent planning, projects can be positioned collision-free on the available operational surfaces. In this, simultaneous planning of production sequences and layout his possible. By using the time and project filters, planners constantly have an overview of completed, current and planned projects. The finished assembly plan can be exported as an Excel table. Planning of surface use is done comfortably using a dynamic factory layout in 3D. With the help of an exported 3D view with project information, a cross-department overview of current surface allocations is produced. A practical example is taken from the customer Fill, who in some cases works with very large installations and has to set up the whole or part of the entire installation in its own production halls before delivering it to the customer and commissioning it. Essential here is to take into account varying times for delivery, assembly, commissioning and dismantling as well as restrictions.
