Product showcase Moretto reveals ‘Efficient 4.0’ solutions
The company has plans to introduce numerous innovations at Fakuma 2018 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Right from maintenance hoppers to modular coolers, Moretto displays it all!
Moretto, the plastic fabrication company from Italy will be showcasing its most advanced machines and solutions in the light of the ‘Efficiency 4.0’ concept for the plastics processing industry at Fakuma. The show which is dedicated to the plastics industry will soon be held from October 16–20, 2018 at Friedrichshafen in Germany. The firm states that an Efficiency 4.0 plant is one that is made up of high technological machinery, connected and integrated with each other by a supervision system that guarantees total control of the process, the possibility to reduce energy consumption and to increase the final quality. In this background, Moretto offers its customers low energy consumption machines that prove beneficial for users to achieve higher productivity.
Moretto's maintenance hoppers
At this year’s Fakuma, the firm aims to display three new types of maintenance hoppers – TM hoppers, TMC hoppers and Krystal maintenance hoppers (TMK). The hoppers prove to be valid solutions for the containment of plastic granules on the processing machines. The TM hoppers are made of stainless steel and come with a characteristic cone shape. They also guarantee optimal flow of any material, and are suitable to accept single-phase, three-phase and receivers for centralised conveying systems.
On the other hand, TMC hoppers are used for the treatment of dried hot materials. Made from stainless steel, the product features double-wall insulation with a removable cone that avoids heat loss by creating process constancy.
Produced from transparent shockproof acrylic material, Krystal maintenance hoppers (TMK) ensure an effective containment of plastic granules and offer a great visibility allowing the operator to immediately verify the level of material.
Moretto’s line of innovations
In addition to this, the integrated self-configurable supervision system with intuitive object programming – Mowis 3 will also be exhibited at the trade fair. This system is responsible for the connection and control of the whole automation chain in the plastics processing plants.
The new compact loss-in-weight dosing unit DPK is another solution that will be exhibited at Fakuma. This solution is suitable for intermittent or continuous dosing of small quantities of colour or additives into a flow base material. Thus, this unit helps to solve the problem of overdosing with an extremely precise control.
The RCV X Cooler is a new modular cooler developed by Moretto that falls in line with the ‘Efficiency 4.0’ concept. The cooler is equipped to offer a cooling power up to 900 Kw, modularity and easy expansion over time (up to 6 units). Further, the RC Mini is a new series of chillers that offers cooling capacities from 6.8–26.2 kW. Produced by stainless steel, the chillers are compact and easy to install machines.
The Moretto booth has many new solutions which it intends to showcase to industry players from the plastics processing industry. At Fakuma, the company’s booth can be found in Hall B3, Stand 3208.
