Manufacturing of electric cars - will everything change?
BMW had installed a specific production structure for the i3 and i8 at the Leipzig plant (pictured). At present, almost all plants are producing plug-in hybrids in the same structure as pure combustion vehicles. The next step is to produce fully electric vehicles in existing structures.
