LVD Group is one of the leading suppliers and manufacturers of sheet metal working machinery and software. In line with today’s ‘Industry 4.0’ scenario, the Belgium-based firm has introduced a range of laser cutting, bending, punching and software technology for the industry. The company also intends to showcase these new innovative solutions at the soon to be held sheet metal working technology event, Euroblech 2018. To be held on an area of 89,000 sq m plus, the popular trade fair is expected to welcome 1,550 exhibitors from 40 diverse countries in Hannover, Germany.

Highlighting the idea of increased production efficiency via flexible automation solutions and cell manufacturing, the LVD Group will be displaying its new ToolCell automated tool changing press brake, a new generation of electric press brake, ultra-high-speed Electra FL 3015 fiber laser, TL 2665-FL tube laser cutting machine, Easy-Form 80/25 press brake, Strippit PX-1530 punch press and the Cadman Suite at the show.

Tube laser cutting machine

At this year’s Euroblech, the firm will be displaying the TL 2665-FL tube laser cutting machine for the first time in the European market. Capable of accurately processing different tube profiles such as round, rectangular, square or other standard tube profiles in a range of materials and handling tube lengths up to 7925 mm, the tube laser cutting machine also offers optimal speeds via a 2kW fiber laser. In addition to this, the machine also boasts of an integrated magazine-type automatic tube loading system and also features a Fanuc laser package and Fanuc touch-screen control.

New ToolCell automated tool changing press brakes

The ToolCell automated tool changing press brake is capable of handling additional tool storage capacity. This makes it convenient for the operators to change the tools quickly without wasting precious time. The new machine proves to be the ideal choice for small batches, high part mix, and increased part complexity.

New generation electric press brakes

The new generation of electric press brakes comprises an automation feature that is responsible for high-speed bending of small piece parts in varying batch sizes. With this added element, the machine which is built from the Dyna-Press platform enables one to achieve a higher level of flexibility. By making use of the new press brake, more parts per hour can be produced and that too at lower costs!

Fiber laser cutting machine

This revolutionary and ultra-high-speed Electra FL 3015 fiber laser cutting machine technology comprises a new 10kW laser source which is capable of cutting a diverse range of ferrous as well as non-ferrous materials in a speedy and efficient manner. The laser cutting machine is also equipped with a 10-shelf Compact Tower (CT-L) which keeps pace with the Electra to efficiently load, unload and store parts and material.

Easy-Form 80/25 press brake

This smart bending machine possesses a high-quality ‘Easy-Form’ Laser which benefits the process angle monitoring system. In this unique technology, the operator can achieve the desired angle right from the first bending operation as the press brake adapts the ram position in real-time. Owing to this, the bending process is not interrupted and production time also becomes rewarding.

Punch press

This exclusive Strippit PX-1530 punch press can punch, form, bend and tap to efficiently complete various processes such as complex, three-dimensional parts. Recently, the punch press has been equipped with a new Extended Tool Magazine (ETM) which is capable of holding up to 40 additional tools and thus ensures more capacity. As a result of this, constant tool changing can be avoided and downtime can also be achieved. Quick loading and unloading as well as part picking for uninterrupted production flow is also made possible through the Flexible Automation system (FA-P).

The unique aspects of each of these solutions make them all a winner and with so many interesting innovations to be displayed at Euroblech 2018, industry players are sure to have a ball!
