Hasco is also expanding the existing latch lock programme to include a special compact variant for mounting on the interior of the injection mould, we hear. This newcomer goes by the name of round latch locking unit Z1790/, Hasco informs us.
Inboard latch locks offer the advantage, the maker explains, that they do not enlarge the planned external dimensions of the injection mould. They are furthermore very well protected on the inside of the form, which guarantees reliable grading of the plate-opening movement.
These latch locking units require little space and enable strokes between 30 and 130 mm. The pulling bar Z1791/ can be mounted on either the intermediate or the clamping plate.
The stroke, according to Hasco, can be defined variably by shortening the pulling bar. The housing, too, can be cut to length individually to adapt it to the required plate thicknesses. This central locking system, established on the market, guarantees high force transmission. This is made possible by the precise interlocking, we are told. A further special feature is the locking of the pulled plate, providing additional safety in production.
