Trade Fair India: Succesful results for trade fair trio
The sixth edition of the Indian trade fair trio Wire & Cable India, Tube India and Metallurgy India was held in Bombay in October. The organizers are very pleased with this year's results of the trade fair for cables, tubes and metallurgy.
The trade fair trio was held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center in Mumbai from 5 to 7 October 2016. On the three days of the trade fair a wide range of products and solutions from the wire and cable industries, tube processing and tube trading as well as metallurgy were shown by 406 exhibitors. The exhibition area spread out on just under 8,000 square meters. The trade fair saw 12,300 trade visitors, which marks a 28% increase in visitors over the previous events.
Even though the greatest part of exhibitors came from India, several other countries presented companies, embassies and associations in their own country pavilions, including Germany, Austria, Italy, the USA and China.
Wire & Cable India aims to offer the full range of products, technologies and solutions from wire manufacturing and finishing machinery, process technology, materials, measuring and control technology to test engineering.
The organizer Messe Düsseldorf describes the atmosphere during the trade fair positively: The trio generated synergies for exhibitors and visitors alike. The Wire & Cable India 2016 led to interesting conversations at trade fair stands and prospects of good follow-up business. The exhibitors rated the conversations themselves as being marked by high decision-making competence and good technical knowledge.
Parallel to Wire & Cable India, Tube India and Metallurgy India Messe Essen and Messe Düsseldorf also organzized the India Welding and Cutting. The next edition of the trade fair trio (again accompanied by India Essen & welding) will be held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center in Mumbai from 27 to 29 November 2018.
