Pre event report India: Powder & Bulk Solids India 2016
Powder & Bulk Solids India 2016, through its focused exhibition and knowledge based workshops and conferences, aims at showcasing the importance of the Indian market in the global field.

The rapid growth of the industrial and construction sectors in emerging markets is expected to be a major contributing factor towards the global bulk material handling products and technologies market. India is proof of this with its increased industrial automation and increase in mass production methodology and assembly line concepts.
The exhibition and conference Powder & Bulk Solids India will give both national and international companies a platform to come together and harness business opportunities via its strong knowledge based conferences, workshops and exhibition. The event, in its 6th edition now, is jointly organised by Nürnberg Messe and Vogel Business Media and will take place at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.
An emphasis on knowledge sharing
Apart from providing companies with the right platform to showcase their products, Powder & Bulk Solids India is also designed to bring together industry experts and academic institutions via a series of high quality presentations and technical workshop. The theme of the workshop and conferences this year is ‘Achieving high performance for powder and bulk solids in resonance with nature’, and will encompass a broad spectrum of scientific papers to application related presentations.
The last edition of the conference and workshop sessions included top class workshops held by Prof Avi Levy, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ben Gurion University of the Negav, Israel; Prof Yutaka Tsuji – Prof Emeritus at Osaka University, Japan; Dr Mark Jones, Professor, The University of Newcastle, Australia; Stefan Penno, Rembe GmbH, Germany; Dr Craig Wheeler, Professor, The University of Newcastle, Australia; and Dr VK Agarwal, Professor, IIT Delhi & Conference Board member, Powder & Bulk Solids India.
