S&T Consulting Hungary Kft. (S&T) announced on 6 November that it will launch the S&T University 4.0 Program, unique in the history of Hungarian higher education. As a leading IT system integrator and industrial digitalisation expert in the country, S&T aims to contribute to the development of industrial digitalisation training opportunities at universities.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution presents industry and education with unprecedented challenges. It is crucial that actors in both areas implement the digital switchover as quickly as possible in order for Hungary to be the winner of the transformation. The S&T University 4.0 Program can act as a catalyst in this process, accelerating bidirectional knowledge transfer between industry and universities.

“Exploiting the potential of Industry 4.0 is inconceivable without new generations of engineers equipped with advanced digitalization software, so universities have a decisive influence on the modernization of Hungarian industry. Recognizing this, we developed the S&T University 4.0 Program. We believe that this can give further impetus to the transformation and development of the Hungarian economy,” said Péter Szabó, Managing Director of S&T Consulting Hungary Kft.

“With the launch of the Program, we are completing a year and a half of preparatory work today. This is a strategic investment from us for the future. We would like to thank the participating universities and our software partners for the extremely positive and constructive cooperation. We are confident that the software will be in good hands and the knowledge gained will serve the development of the industry,” said Ferenc Nyirő, Head of S&T Industrial Digitalization.
