Industry players from around the world come to attend Hannover Messe in high numbers. This year too, the event expects the footfall to be roughly 220,000. Hannover Messe, one of the largest trade fairs for industrial technology in the world, will be held form April 23-27, 2018 at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Hanover, Germany. The theme for this year is ‘Integrated Industry – Connect & Collaborate’ and the exhibition grounds are divided into six core events – Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives, Digital Factory, Energy, Industrial Supply, Research & Technology and as a premiere, CeMAT will take place at the same time and place also.

Core events

Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives is the leading show for integrated automation, industrial IT, power transmission and control and will be held in Halls 8, 9, 11, 12, 14–17, 22 and 23. More than 2,000 exhibitors will be showcasing their innovations and 9,000 plus products are expected to be displayed at this show. Digital Factory will be positioned in halls 6-8 where visitors can find integrated processes and IT solutions displayed by more than 590 exhibitors and also have a look at the 1,600 plus products showcased at the event.

The show for integrated energy systems and mobility, Energy, is expected to host more than 1,800 exhibitors and display 6,400 plus products and will be hosted in halls 11–13, 27 and FG. Next in line is the Industrial Supply event which will be held in halls 3–5. The event for innovative subcontracting solutions and lightweight construction will comprise more than 1,800 exhibitors and present 5,700 plus products. Research & Technology is the show for R&D and technology transfer that will have 700 plus exhibitors, showcase more than 1,500 products and will be exhibited in Hall 2.

CeMAT

Hannover Messe 2018 will co-stage with CeMAT – the leading trade show for intra logistics and supply chain management across the globe at the same venue. The collaboration will bring in more business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. The show will be held in halls 19–21, 24, 26, FG and Pavilions 32–35.
