Hannover Messe means business, business and more business! This year, over 5,000 decision makers will attend the show’s Global Business & Markets event to discuss new global market opportunities. This is Europe’s biggest foreign trade event and the world’s only such event within an industrial setting.

The high profile session will include high-level conferences, quality advice from expert advisors and a multidisciplinary Investment Lounge that will attract executives, business developers, ambassadors, trade delegations, representatives from chambers of commerce and associations, and consultants from across the globe. Scheduled to be held in hall 27, Global Business & Markets will prove beneficial especially for small and medium-sized companies that are looking to expand their international business or invest in emerging markets.

In terms of numbers, about 191,000 visitors (90% from abroad)and 220 exhibitors from 50 countries are expected to attend this segment. Global Business & Markets consists of an exhibit area and an Economic Conference as well as workshops along with an Investment Lounge. Ranging from Industry 4.0 and industry politics to economic promotion and industry clusters to risk management and investment capital, the show has it all.

The conference and forums at Global Business & Markets will focus on diverse subjects such as current challenges in trade politics, European initiatives for growth and industrial development politics, free trade zones and industrial parks of the world. It will also offer an in-depth insight into the number of export and investment destinations such as the USA, Japan, the BRIC countries, Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Investment lounge

Players from the industry can also find potential partners for their international joint ventures and business expansion at the Investment Lounge in the Global Business & Markets section. Exhibitors and visitors can make use of the professional set up to network and discuss their overseas business, international funding, investment plans, etc. with potential business partners. Hannover Messe 2018, one of the largest trade fairs for industrial technology across the globe will be held from April 23–27, 2018 at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Hannover, Germany. The theme for this year is ‘Integrated Industry – Connect & Collaborate’ and the show is expected to attract 5,000 exhibitors and 220,000 visitors, more than 150 speakers and hold 1,400 plus events at its venue. All key technologies and core areas of the industry such as research and development, industrial automation, IT, industrial supply, production technologies and services to energy and mobility technologies can be witnessed here.
