The recent lifting of international economic sanctions against Iran is paving the way for the revival of business relations with that country.

The event will take place in Teheran from 30 May to 1 June. The aim of AMB, the international exhibition for metalworking, and the VDW is to establish an international platform for manufacturing technology for the Iranian market and neighbouring countries.

"Together with our partners, we are exporting this recipe for success to the Iranian market," explained Ulrich Kromer, management representative at Messe Stuttgart.

"With our powerful members from the machine tool industry and our international experience in organising symposiums and trade fairs, we are in great demand as a partner for the Iranian companies,” stressed Dr Wilfried Schäfer, director of the German machine tool association.
