The 19th edition of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN acted as a platform for displaying the latest technologies along with exchanging specialist ideas.

SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017, one of the leading shows for joining, cutting and surfacing was recently held from September 25–29, 2017 in Germany. Around 1,000 exhibitors from 41 nations presented their latest technologies at the fair. The event not only attracted major players in the sector but also many young, innovative companies.

Activities at the show

The show witnessed products, processes and services from various segments such as the chemical industry, automobile and vehicle construction, shipbuilding, mechanical and installation engineering, pipe fabrication and pipeline construction, mining as well as manufacturing of metal products. The exhibition also acted as a platform for exchanging specialist ideas.

The Young Welders’ Competitions saw the most talented young welders competing against each other. In this segment, Germany’s most promising talents were recognised.

The next edition of the show is scheduled to be held from September 13–17, 2021 in Germany.
