Trade Shows Germany: EMO heads towards record exhibitor numbers
Editor: Susanne Hertenberger
Less than one year before the world's premier metalworking show EMO Hannover 2017 opens its doors on 18 September, more than 1,700 companies from 40 countries have already registered, organiser VDW reports.
According to show organiser VDW, 152,000m² have already been booked for EMO 2017 (18 - 23 September 2017).

“It looks very much as if EMO 2017 will end up with a record number of exhibitors,” EMO General Commissioner Carl Martin Welcker said. According to Welcker, among the reasons are that EMO is returning to Hanover after four years, which always hosts more international events than Milan.
The show themed “Connecting systems for intelligent production” will be dedicated to digitisation and networking in terms of Industry 4.0.
