The start-up Coman Software aims to build a bridge between digital pre-planning and real installation construction. It apparently provides an clear overview entire process chain, roots out fault sources, and connects teams, data and dates. All in all, a smart project management solution, already in use at such firms as Daimler, Siemens and Volkswagen.

New area in Hall 13 for innovative start-ups

Coman’s founder and CEO Timur Ripke and his team are presenting their tool in the “Young Tech Enterprises” area: this new area in Hall 13 brings together pioneering start-ups in the relevant industrial field and gives them a platform. The development team from Stendal is demonstrating solutions for improved transparency and automated documentation at Booth D08 and presents for the first time two brand-new features, finalised right on time.

At last: an overview of the construction site and open points

Seeing and understanding the status of the entire team at a glance – a manager’s dream. Precisely this clear overview is what you get with the new Dashboard, conceived and realised by the Coman team in response to busy managers’ enquiries. Even more often, users voice the desire for mobile tracking of defects arising at the construction site. No sooner wished than done: from April, personnel can list defects, open points and necessary work using the Coman LoP. This “List of Open Points” is then transferred to the basic software in real-time, without media break and therefore without translation errors.

Following construction progress with the mobile app

New production works, a single installation or adaptations – Coman users can see the current project status of collaborating contractors and suppliers at any time, online and off. For the first time, this tool automatically combines the digital layout planning with timetabling by synchronising the data already used; customers need make no changes to their system landscapes. Standardised graphical symbol codes visualise progress, deadlines and problems at a glance and simplify sharing of reports. An important feature for all who are often at the construction site: the Coman app communicates construction progress to mobile end devices.
