Product line up Faro to showcase its mighty innovations
There is a constant need to innovate and come up with efficient and more reliable products for the smooth functioning of operations. Faro is one such company that is following this path and will be displaying a diverse range of products at the huge Hannover Messe trade fair.
Faro is one of the leading players in 3D measurement, imaging and realisation technology across diverse industry segments such as manufacturing, construction and engineering. The Florida-based company has launched many innovative products in the past one year. This includes the Faro Cobalt Array 3D Imager, Faro Laser Scanner Focus3D, Faro Laser Tracker Vantage, Faro Gage, Faro Edge Scanarm or Faro Edge. The company is keen to showcase these products at the upcoming trade fair – Hannover Messe that will be held from April 23-27, 2018 in Germany.
Some of the features of Faro’s product line have been highlighted below:
Faro Design Scanarm 2.0
The new Scanarm is designed to meet demanding requirements laid down by product designers and product engineering professionals. Offering resolution and ergonomics, the Faro Design Scanarm 2.0 is flexible, reliable and delivers up to 25 % improved system accuracy as compared to its predecessor. To improve production, the Faro Blu Laser Line Probe HD has also been added which comprises of an advanced blue laser technology and offers rapid scanning of up to 600,000 points per second. Available in three arm lengths – 2.5 m, 3.5 m and 4 m – the Scanarm weighs less, is easily maneuverable and enables a new level of efficiency with integration of a kinematic intelligent probe system for projects that require contact measurement.
FocusS 70 Laser Scanner
The Faro FocusS 70 is the latest addition to the Focus Laser Scanner portfolio. The Laser Scanner is a high accuracy, short range scanner specifically designed for architecture, engineering, construction, product design and public safety-forensics professionals. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, the FocusS 70 can be used at locations that require scanning up to 70 meters along with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm. With an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 54, the laser scanner can also be utilised in high particulate and wet weather conditions, HDR imaging and extended temperature range.
Laser Tracker Vantage
The portable Vantage laser trackers include two models – VantageE (operating range of 25 meters) and VantageS (operating range of 80 meters). The Vantage series can be utilised for addressing challenges in large-scale metrology such as assembly alignment, part and assembly inspection, machine installation and alignment, and reverse engineering. Both the models comprise an integrated master control unit (MCU), hot swappable batteries that eliminate the need for AC power and cabling, and industrial grade Wi-Fi for reliable, wireless communications.
