Baumüller Nürnberg – a specialist for automation and drive technology – presents at the Hannover Messe solutions for Industry 4.0 and shows its competences as an engineering service provider.

At the fair booth, visitors get information, among other things, about life-cycle management, participate in live demonstrations of the Pro Simulation software, and receive advice on the design of drive systems.

The newly developed software Pro Simulation is being presented for the first time at the Hannover Messe. It is said to facilitate entry into the world of simulation considerably and simplify design, optimisation and commissioning of machines and installations.

For the engineering framework Pro Master, Baumüller offers not only the basic library with motion building-blocks as with PLC Open, but also a growing library of specific building-blocks and machine modules with comprehensive functionalities. Each module is apparently tailored to elementary machine functions and adapted optimally, we hear.

In addition, Baumüller presents controllers and drives, including the optimised asynchronous AC motors of type DA1-100-280 and servo-motors in the sizes 45 and 56, featuring very compact dimensions due to water cooling.
