Mapal acts as the manufacturer of precision tools in Czech Republic. Thus, new premises for local subsidiary of Aalen-based company have been required in the previous years. And the growth continues.

Mapal could grow in Czech Republic since its market launch in 2002 with promptness, reliability and quality.

In the subsidiary of Mapal C&S, 40 employees are supervised in the technical sales and production as well as Czech and Slovak market. In addition, the company undertakes the tasks as re-sharpening and reconditioning center for the customers from Czech Republic, Slovakia and nearby Poland.

The growth causes the premises for Czech Mapal-subsidiary to become small

Since the premises in Dlouha Lhota have become small, Mapal inaugarated 1000 m² large production facilities and storage facilities as well as 400 m² for office facilities in the nearby situated, strategically important Mlada Boleslav in 2014. "The enhancement of production was a major impulse for the future development of Mapal C&S. The production capacity has been increased significantly. Now we can manufacture PCD-new tools and can offer repair and re-sharpening facilities for Czech Republic, Slovakia and nearby Poland. In addition, we can offer our customers with re-sharpening of VHM-tools, primarily drilling. Currently, we offer a very complex technical support", reported Petr Pokorný, the Managing Director of Mapal C&S, at the request of MM MaschinenMarkt.

Thus, the task distribution between Mapal-parent company and Mapal C&S is simple: "Time-critical orders are manufactured on site. We are supported by the parent company in very big, significant projecs in all aspects, which are processed centrally in an effective manner."
