Innovation and entrepreneurship Czech Republic: Esteem and respect (not only) for the elite

Professsions belong inseparably to our lives. We do not live to eat and make money. We eat and make money to live. We create values which remain here for future generations.
In the last 25 years, Czech companies learned how to produce, to sell, to manage people and to win recognition in a harsh competitive environment.

We are now in 2016 and many firms in the former Eastern European block celebrate the 20th anniversary of their establishment and those established earlier even the 25th anniversary. I highly admire these adventurers who at that time set out on a very unsure path of private entrepreneurship. They entered for them an absolutely unknown realm and started establishing new companies. They became organizational members of multinational corporations, gained manufacturing licenses or started their own production. They developed new products and looked for markets. Here they were awaited by discriminating customers who did not excuse anything. They learned how to produce, to sell, to manage people and to win recognition in a harsh competitive environment where well-established global firms did not care for competitors from the East and on the contrary it was the local market which interested them both from the aspect of production and export.
These enthusiasts devoted themselves completely to their entrepreneurial activities, frequently with the result of dissoluted families and weakened health. They managed (for a certain period) to be surrounded by loyal personnel with whom little by little they gained private victories and achieved partial goals. Nothing, however, was given gratis – years without a leave, sleepless nights, constant meditating about the firm´s future and hours and hours spent at the factory over unsolvable problems when all others were already at their homes. Many times they gave up and many times, like the legendary bird Phoenix, rose from the ashes. We should show great respect to all these people and great admiration for what they built with their teams.
They are the creators of values who represent the given country in the world and rectify its often poor reputation which some usurpers harmed and unfortunately with sheer obstinacy still continue to harm. We should be proud of our entrepreneurial elite.
