Energy Vehicles China: New energy vehicles in 2015 increased by four times
In 2015, the cumulative production of new energy vehicles was 379,000 vehicles, increased by four times year on year. It is expected that China's new energy vehicles in 2016 would continue to maintain rapid growth, and the sales is expected to be 700,000 vehicles or so.

According to the statistics of motor vehicle factory certificates, until December 2015, the production of China's new energy vehicles was 99,800 units, up three times. Of which, the production of pure electric passenger cars was 25,700 units, up 114% from a year earlier; the production of plug-in hybrid passenger cars was 10,500 units, up two times; the production of pure electric commercial vehicles was 57,800 units, up six times; the production of plug-in hybrid commercial vehicles was 5,725 units, up 51% from a year earlier. The production of domestic new energy cars listed in the first six batches of the “catalogue of new energy automobile models with exemption of vehicle purchase tax” was 91,800 vehicles, accounting for 92% of the production in December.
In 2015, the cumulative production of new energy vehicles was 379,000 units, increased by four times. Of which, the production of pure electric passenger cars was 142,800 units, up three times; the production of plug-in hybrid passenger cars was 63,600 units, up three times; the production of pure electric commercial vehicles was 147,900 units, increased by eight times, and the production of plug-in hybrid commercial vehicles was 24,600 units, up 79% from a year earlier.
It is understood that the overall sales situation of China's auto production enterprises in 2015: the top 10 sales enterprises in 2015 are in turn: SAIC, Dongfeng, FAW, Chang'an, BAW, GAC, Huacheng, Great Wall, JAC and Geely. Compared with a year earlier, FAW sales fell slightly, other enterprises harvested a certain growth, and Geely and JAC grew. The total sales volume of such ten companies was 22.007 million units in 2015, accounting for 89.47% of the total sales.
Expectation
Under the strong push of policy, it is expected China's new energy car in 2016 would continue to maintain rapid growth, and the sales is expected to be 700,000 units or so.
