Hannover Messe Charging to the Limit

Editor: Lina Klass

Leoni, global system and development supplier for wire, cable and wiring systems, will be presenting at the Microsoft stand at the Hanover Fair how their intelligent cable technology "LEONiQ" works and what advantages it offers.

Charging processes can also be optimised with such charging cables with status-indexed light function.

The Leoni Q cable management system presented by Leoni enables collection of parameters such as temperature or mechanical strain to be collected and evaluated along cable systems of any kind and length; collected data can then be used for energy and data management.

This way, almost any cable can be equipped with intelligence, the firm emphasises. An application example for this “key technology” – in Leoni’s words – is the charging infrastructure for electrical and plug-in hybrid vehicles. In this case, Leoni Q can contribute to ensuring that charging processes are carried out quickly, securely and up to the full performance limit.

Leoni can be found at Hannover Messe at Hall 7, Booth C40.
