Asian Machine Tool Exhibition 2018 ready to roll!

The trade fair will act as a prime location for the machine tool industry to get an insight into the latest technological happenings. Three concurrent events alongside the show are also expected to elevate the status of this year’s edition.

The Indian machine tool industry is globally ranked 12th in production and 8th in consumption, according to the latest Gardner Research Survey 2017. Industry experts have also predicted that the domestic market is expected to grow 25–30 % in the next couple of years provided it receives continued support from the Indian Government. In such a positive scenario, it seems to be the perfect time to host one of the leading machine tool events in the country – the Asian Machine Tool Exhibition (AMTEX).

Supported by the Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industries (ALMTI) and expected to be held from July 06-09, 2018 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India, the business show displays cutting edge technologies and innovations on a single platform. This year marks the 11th edition of the trade fair which will look forward to attract the who’s who of the industry.

Some of the leading names from the sector that have already confirmed participation include Ace Micromatic Group, Mitsubishi Electric, Marposs, Zeiss, Mitutoyo and many more. AMTEX 2018 will welcome exhibitors from UK, Japan, Italy, Germany, Korea, Netherlands, Turkey & Singapore and will also showcase exclusive International pavilions of China and Taiwan.

In terms of visitors, the show receives heavy footfalls from the automobile & auto components sector, electric and electronics segment and the process plant and machinery industry. It is also popular among visitors interested in the aerospace, capital goods, defence, earth moving equipment and infrastructure industries.

GoConnect

The highlight of this edition is the ‘GoConnect’ online platform through which pre-registered visitors can book meetings with their desired exhibitors beforehand in order to network, discover opportunities, hold business discussions or even discover their recent innovations. This enables the visitor to come better prepared with all his concerns and solve all his queries with the selected exhibitors. Quality and Metrology – Q MET 2018
