AMB Iran has enabled companies to re-enter this market area following the lifting of the sanctions against Iran. This year's edition will be held at the Shahr-e-Aftab Trade Fair Centre in Tehran. "The high level of interest proves that the move to a larger venue was the correct decision by the organisers, Messe Stuttgart and the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW)," said Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, president of Messe Stuttgart.

The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) has included AMB Iran in the official foreign trade fair and exhibition program. Exhibitors at AMB Iran will have the opportunity to present their company and their products in favourable conditions at a German pavilion, following the motto, "Made in Germany", the organisers said. Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, managing director VDW, confirmed: "The German pavilion makes participation attractive for numerous exhibitors on this market, which gives rise to expectations and hopes."

Turkey and China will also be represented by a pavilion. Country delegations from Italy, Switzerland and Taiwan have already confirmed their attendance.
