The firm Fumex, which describes itself as having the widest programme on the market for removing polluting gases and particles from the air, is exhibiting at the Metav the CV disposable filter range. This latest development by the firm is a unit for extracting pollutants from individual workplaces. It can be fitted with various filter cartridges: in polyester or cellulose for filtering welding fumes, for example, or in activated carbon for absorbing smells, gases and smoke.

This device, with a diameter of only 400 mm and two housing heights, is very compact, and can be placed space-savingly on hall walls or pillars. The collecting of smoke, dust or gas directly at the source is made possible by the Fumex extraction arm.

Arranged in a row, these devices can serve a number of workplaces using a joint extractor fan.
